- Assist team leads with the installation, maintenance, and repair of emergency power systems, UPS systems, and a wide range of electrical equipment, fixtures, tools, and appliances.
- Support work on single- and three-phase electrical systems, including 120V, 208V, 277V, 480V, and 12,470V equipment, as well as signal, control, and low-voltage systems.
- Assist in diagnosing electrical system malfunctions, equipment failures, and design or operational issues.
- Read, interpret, and follow work schedules, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and manufacturer manuals to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs and emergency response activities as required.
- Support the optimal functioning of campus electrical and mechanical systems, including data center infrastructure and UPS equipment.
- Serve as an escort for contractors or vendors performing on-site services when designated.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong safety awareness at all times.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one (1) year of practical experience in commercial electrical system maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to read and interpret work schedules, technical instructions, and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to attend and complete technical training for critical equipment, including UPS systems and data center infrastructure.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or similar software applications.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial electrical maintenance.
