Assistant Manager

Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is looking for a full-time or part-time Assistant Manager for its Vienna (and Leesburg and Chantilly) location. The positions offer a positive, fun work environment with advancement opportunities. The full-time position is non-seasonal.

The store has walk-up/walk-in business and third-party delivery, as well as catering. Significant interaction by managers with local business and residential communities also supports store business.

Assistant Managers are involved in all aspects of store operations, including hiring and training, inventory, scheduling, marketing and maintenance of major equipment. Ideal candidates will have superior interpersonal skills, at least one year of progressively responsible experience in a quick service restaurant or other hospitality setting, and work references that can speak to the candidate's strong work ethic.

This position is intended to prepare the Assistant Manager to take on full responsibility as a Store Manager. Pay is based on an hourly rate of $17 for the FT position an d $15 for a PT position, both of which may be increased depending on prior job experience. The full-time position includes an increased rate, and also will be eligible for additional benefits, including participation in our company's 401(k) plan, paid time off, access to an Employee Assistance Program via Balance Works, access to health insurance reimbursement under a QSEHRA and eligibility for discretionary bonuses.

Weekday daytime availability (at least 2 days) is required.
