What You Will Do

The Third-Party Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of egg donor patient care, FDA testing and regulatory requirements, customer service, and infertility care. This position collaborates closely with physicians to coordinate care and consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and required testing procedures.

The IVF Nurse Coordinator is expected to function independently in this role, seeking guidance from physicians, the Clinical Nurse Lead, and team members as appropriate. This position reports to the Clinical Nurse Lead.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete donor patient assessments, including collection and interpretation of data relevant to care
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of FDA tissue regulations and ensure full compliance for all donors
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and donor patient responses in the EMR
  • Educate patients and respond to questions using appropriate clinical and educational resources
  • Communicate patient conditions and concerns to physicians and other providers as needed
  • Discharge patients to home or temporary housing as appropriate and coordinate hospital transfer if required
  • Promote a positive work environment and participate in staff meetings and quality improvement efforts
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to support efficient patient care and daily operations
  • Ensure paperwork and consents are accurate, complete, and properly signed
  • Coordinate chart review prior to procedures to confirm all surgery center and IVF lab consents are complete
  • Inquire about and document advance directives in the EMR when applicable
  • Respond calmly and efficiently to emergent situations using appropriate protocols and equipment
  • Perform post-operative follow-up calls and document appropriately in the EMR
  • Maintain strict HIPAA, HIV, and patient confidentiality
  • Identify and report concerns regarding domestic violence or abuse per clinic policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • Advanced clinical training is strongly preferred
    , including:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP),
    or
  • Registered Nurse with prior experience in transplant medicine, tissue banking, donor coordination, reproductive medicine, or regulated tissue environments
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum) from an accredited program required
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Nurse Practitioner degree strongly preferred
  • Active and unrestricted state RN (or NP) license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience required
  • Prior experience with FDA-regulated tissue programs, transplant coordination, fertility, or donor-based care is highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, regulatory compliance mindset, and comfort working in highly structured, protocol-driven environments
  • Excellent patient communication, care coordination, and documentation skills
