Job Title: Senior Service Now Developer / Architect
Location: 100% Remote

Work Authorization & Clearance::

• US Citizenship is contractually required for this role
• FEMA Public Trust clearance is required. Candidates must currently hold this clearance or be eligible to obtain it. (This role supports an internal federal project that mandates FEMA-cleared resources.)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Now Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and configuring Service Now solutions, particularly within federal environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and customize Service Now applications and modules to meet business and technical requirements, with a focus on federal projects.
• Implement scripting solutions using client scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, Script Includes, and other Service Now components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support integrations with third-party tools using SOAP/REST APIs, MID servers, and other integration patterns.
• Perform system enhancements, updates, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Service Now development best practices.
• Stay current with Service Now releases, features, and platform capabilities and apply them effectively.

Qualifications:

• Service Now CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) OR Service Now CSM certification is highly preferred.
• Federal project experience is highly preferred, with familiarity in compliance, security, and federal standards.
• Proven experience as a Service Now Developer working with ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, or CSM modules.
• Strong technical expertise in Service Now development, including scripting, workflows, UI development, Service Portal, and integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain Service Now applications that are scalable, secure, and compliant with federal guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Familiarity with other ITSM tools or platforms.
• Additional Service Now certifications as required, such as the Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other module-specific certifications.
