Cloud Security Engineer

Actio Net has an opportunity for the Cloud Security Engineer ensures that agency ’s cloud environments adhere to the highest security standards. This role is responsible for implementing security controls, monitoring cloud environments for threats, and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage security controls in cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud networks for vulnerabilities and threats.
• Develop policies for identity and access management (IAM).
• Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP security standards.
• Work with Dev Sec Ops  teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis.

Basic Qualifications (Required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
• Experience with security frameworks like Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
• Hands‑on experience with security automation tools.
