Position : SAP Enterprise Consultant - SAP S/4

Duration : 6 months, potential for extension

Location :
Houston, TX (No Remote). In-Office Expectation: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

• Define, maintain, and govern SAP S/4
  
  HANA enterprise architecture for utility operations.
• Develop and manage multi-year SAP roadmaps aligned with business and EA standards.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture design across SAP S/4
  
  HANA landscapes.
• Provide architectural leadership across SAP modules including FI/CO, MM, SD, PM/EAM, and SAP IS-U / S/4
  
  HANA Utilities.
• Guide ECC to S/4
  
  HANA transformation strategies (greenfield, brownfield, hybrid).
• Drive modernization initiatives leveraging SAP BTP, cloud, and hybrid architectures.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, governance models, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business, IT, cybersecurity, and risk teams to ensure solution integrity and resilience. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on SAP strategy and architectural decisions. Oversee SAP vendors and Managed Services partners, ensuring adherence to standards and SLAs.
• Support the Enterprise Architecture team within the Utilities domain (Electric, Gas, and/or Water) with end-to-end SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation experience and managed services exposure.

• 10+ years of SAP experience, including experience as an SAP Enterprise Architect.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations.
• Experience supporting Managed Services and large enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of utility industry processes (asset management, billing, customer service, regulatory reporting).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: SAP Certified Technology Professional - System Security Architect (or equivalent).
• Preferred: SAP S/4
  
  HANA Architecture and/or SAP Utilities certifications.
