AWS Engineer
Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an AWS Engineer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support our government customer in Vienna, VA. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days telework).

Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain automation code responsible for integration and delivery processes
- Knowledge of IT architectures, processes, and best practices
- Work with system architects and developers to maintain and improve the automated solutions (e.g. Lambdas, Step Functions, internal applications)
- Focus on creating and maintaining automation scripts for repeatable tasks
- Research and implement new tools/libraries to solve problems
- Experience integrating multiple 3rd party libraries together
- Experience being in a continuous integration and continuous deployment process
- Understanding of security vulnerabilities/compliance
- Understanding of basic web application architecture
- 2+ years related experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with AWS (e.g., Cloud Formation, Lambda, Step Functions, SDK/boto3)
- Experience in continuous integration technology (e.g. Git Lab, Git Hub, Azure Devops)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with Poly
- Ability to work on-site in Vienna, VA (3 days per week)
- Experience with AWS cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong documentation and communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
