A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Citrix Systems Engineer for our client in the McLean, Virginia area. This role requires onsite presence 3 days per week.

• Research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain enterprise virtualization and application delivery solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering support across infrastructure and end-user computing platforms, with a focus on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in hybrid and cloud environments.
• Maintain deep expertise in evolving virtualization technologies and ensure solutions align with business and performance requirements.
• Design, implement, and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly Xen App and Xen Desktop) environments.
• Provide technical direction and engineering support for virtualization and infrastructure projects.
• Administer and optimize Citrix environments including Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies, Citrix DaaS, App Layering, Machine Creation Services (MCS), FSLogix Profile Containers and Application Masking.
• Configure and maintain Citrix Net Scaler for application delivery, load balancing, and security.
• Support Store Front, Citrix Cloud, and related access and delivery components.
• Lead and support migrations of hybrid Citrix environments (on-prem and cloud) to fully cloud-based VDI solutions using Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Citrix performance, availability, and user experience.
• Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for Citrix architecture and operations.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive platforms related to virtualization and application delivery.

• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Citrix environments
• Extensive experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, including:
  • Citrix Studio
  • Citrix Policies
  • Citrix DaaS
  • App Layering
  • Machine Creation Services (MCS)
  • FSLogix Profile Containers and Application Masking
  • Strong experience with Citrix Net Scaler, including networking and policy configuration.
  • Solid understanding of Citrix Cloud, Store Front, and application delivery architecture.
  • Proven experience migrating hybrid VDI environments (on-prem and cloud) to full cloud deployments using Microsoft Azure or another cloud provider.
