Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Infrastructure & Systems Specialist to oversee the configuration and daily operations of various systems, including mainframe, mini, and client/server-based platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing system performance, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and providing user support for business systems.

• Supervise and manage daily activities related to system configuration and operations.
• Oversee the performance of mainframe, mini, and client/server-based systems.
• Manage servers across Windows and Linux (all virtual environments).
• Manage storage solutions including Dell Power Scale (ECS), Isilon, and Avamar (backup solutions).
• Provide on-premises and cloud infrastructure management, ensuring system reliability and scalability.
• Administer and support the company's Azure environment (create servers, manage backups, and applications; note: not a global administrator).
• Utilize and maintain VMware vSphere (currently vSphere
  7) for virtualization and resource allocation.
• Plan and monitor system optimization efforts to improve operational efficiency and resource utilization.
• Conduct system capacity analysis and planning to meet business requirements.
• Perform imaging and system deployment activities as required.
• Ensure smooth system functionality through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and support to end users for accessing and effectively using business systems.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or commensurate experience and education).

• Minimum 7 years of experience in system operations and administration.
• Proven experience in System Operations, Configuration Management, and Performance Optimization.
• Hands‑on experience managing Windows/Linux virtual servers, storage solutions, and backup systems.
• Knowledge and experience with Azure cloud management (creating servers, managing backups, applications).
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere 7 administration and imaging tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills related to system capacity and resource planning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Administrator Associate - Preferred.

Salary and Benefit Information: The likely salary range for this position is $76,000 - $105,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
