The OpportunityThis is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned federal markets professional with 10+ years of progressive experience. You'll transform organizational capabilities, build high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while driving significant revenue growth.
Key focusDepartment of Transportation technology modernization programs, with hands-on involvement transitioning to strategic oversight as the program matures.

- Lead and scale federal civilian portfolio operations from small-to-mid-level environments to enterprise delivery platforms
- Drive business development and stakeholder engagement across DOT and federal civilian agencies
- Manage P&L responsibilities and deliver measurable revenue growth
- Build and develop high-performing teams with strong employee engagement
- Provide strategic direction while maintaining 20-30% billable client involvement during the first 1-2 years
- Interface regularly with clients in the DC area
- 10+ years in federal markets with progressive leadership responsibility
- Strong preference for Department of Transportation experience
- Deep expertise in federal civilian markets and technology modernization
- Proven track record in P&L management and business development
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and federal contracting
- Experience transforming organizational capabilities and scaling operations
- Active government clearance (minimum Public Trust+)
- Currently fully remote with eventual transition to hybrid schedule
- Regular client interface in the DC area required
$180,000 – $200,000 base + performance bonus
