Quality Inspection Sr. Advisor

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA;
  Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA;
  Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
• 16+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• U.S. Citizenship Required.
• Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Strong knowledge of quality frameworks and best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience using mechanical and automated inspection equipment.

• ISO 9001:2015 requirements certification
• Experience supporting FAA or aviation-related systems.

Peraton is seeking a Quality Inspection Sr. Advisor to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that processes and deliverables for mission-critical FAA systems meet defined quality standards. This position works closely with engineers, developers, and program managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.

• Communicate and coordinate directly with the Quality Manager, solution team members, engineers, and developers.
• Maintain inspection requirements and results across the program team.
• Perform inspections for the program.
• Report results of inspections to leadership for analysis.
• Review and understand inspection requirements and provide input to management.
• Support the counterfeit parts protection initiative through inspection processes.
• Enter data for all inspection results in local database and ERP system.
• Create and submit Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Maintain a calibration system.
