MBP is seeking new team members to support meaningful projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with 3+ years of experience in design and construction.

Responsibilities
  • On‑site representation, project documentation, cost estimating, scheduling.
  • Construction quality assurance inspections and design review.
  • Lead planning and managing small to mid‑size projects, or lead a subgroup on a large project.
  • Build positive and productive working relationships with peers, superiors, and subordinates.
Education & Knowledge
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • EIT certification, CMIT certification, PE preferred.
  • Working toward other certifications such as CCM, CCE, PSP.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, construction management, and project controls, with specialized knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, or construction techniques.
  • Must possess OSHA 10‑hour or OSHA 30‑hour certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
Skills and Abilities
  • Report writing, client coordination, and carrying out assignments from conception to completion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM platforms (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk 360), graphics, scheduling (Primavera P6), and cost estimating (RS Means Cost Works).
  • Ability to work within budgets and meet deadlines.
  • Identify potential problems and derive recommended solutions from past experiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Use computers and specialized equipment.
  • Understand and track project schedules.
  • Communicate issues effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
  • Obtain and maintain industry certifications specific to duties assigned.
  • Collaborate within a team.
  • Lift/carry 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
  • Stand, sit, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors under a wide range of weather conditions.
  • Safely navigate construction sites with uneven terrain.
