Job Title: Production Artist (Production Assistant)

Pay: $33 – $35 / Hour
Work Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week (with potential for additional hours based on business needs). Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch). Hybrid schedule.
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with our client, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization, to hire a Production Artist to support their Brand & Creative Services team. Due to an increased volume of creative and digital production work, this role will provide essential hands‑on support to maintain workflow efficiency and meet project deadlines.
Job Description: The Production Artist will focus on executional design and digital production tasks that support larger creative initiatives. This individual will manage recurring asset updates, prepare files for multi-channel distribution, maintain digital asset organization, and provide light video production assistance. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, deadline-driven environment and enjoys detailed production work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resize, format, version, and export creative assets for print, web, social, and advertising channels
- Prepare files according to channel-specific specifications, including proper color settings and export configurations
- Maintain and organize assets within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, including uploading and metadata tagging
- Create and adapt digital graphics for multiple platforms
- Upload, categorize, and tag video files
- Provide light video editing support, including basic cut-downs and caption adjustments
- Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables
- Maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production-focused design role
- Experience with digital asset management systems (Canto or similar preferred)
- Strong understanding of print and digital production workflows
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
- Basic skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects a plus
- Experience working within nonprofit or in-house agency environments strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
