Product Manager

Overview

Our Client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Product Manager for their Reston, VA/Hybrid location.

• Leads the entire product management lifecycle by translating business strategy into downstream product processes. Ensures all stakeholders  features, requirements, and acceptance criteria support delivery and testing of new products and features. May also manage beta programs, develop product marketing materials, and create technical documentation. Ensures new products align with and support existing products where applicable.
• Leverages market research and customer feedback to inform the product roadmap and confirm market demand. Analyzes product landscape and updates existing products or introduces new technologies. Ensures Product Owners  backlogs incorporate this data in prioritization.
• Defines the product roadmap, showing the value delivered at each milestone. Milestones define features or capabilities and are documented through business strategy and translated into workflows, user stories, or required features.
• Assists with go-to-market strategy and launches for new products; facilitates product releases with product owners, engineering, sales, and supply chain; educates internal and external stakeholders. Develops and delivers product presentations.
• Facilitates marketing and stakeholder communications for all products, including translating technical solutions into a clear value proposition.
• Works with finance, where applicable, to define revenue drivers and pricing to ensure market competitiveness and profitability.
• Identifies and documents market information, including competitive analysis, threats, trends, and information helpful to management, sales, and marketing.
• Experts in web portals, mobile apps, back-end systems (web services, database implementation), and cloud migration. Leads strategic and innovative idea creation and implementation.
• Holistic Product management lifecycle mastery from discovery to post-implementation analytics. Proficient with Google Analytics and understanding of implementation tied to analytics.
• Ability to manage demanding stakeholders in a complex work environment.

• Education Level: Bachelor s Degree
• Education Details:
  Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related field
• Experience:
  
  10 years of product management and/or product owner experience
• In lieu of a Bachelor s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
• Proficient in project planning and lifecycle development. Expert

• Proficient in Agile methodologies, principles, and procedures. Expert
• Ability to use product KPIs and business metrics to optimize the product. Expert
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Expert
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines. Expert
• The incumbent must disclose any debarment, exclusion, or other event that makes them ineligible to perform work. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, providing positive customer service.
