The HT Group is looking for a Structural Steel Shop Fitter for a client in Vidor, TX
. Candidates must have prior experience as a Structural Steel Fitter. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (30‑minute lunch; overtime as needed)
PayDOE
Responsibilities / Requirements- Measure, cut, assemble, and fit various metals to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Measure, position, align, and fit structural components such as beams, angle iron, channels, and plates
- Proficient in using tools such as grinders and torches
- Inspect parts to ensure accuracy, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety standards
- Experience with steel fabrication for industrial and commercial projects
- Previous experience in structural steel fitting, ideally with skid fabrication knowledge
Must pass background - No:
Felonies / Violence / Theft and pass a drug test
