What

You Will Do
  • Coordinate and expedite flow of materials within the jobsite, according to production and shipping schedules.
  • Examine material delivered to the jobsite for damages.
  • Arrange on-site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain status and location of materials.
  • Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site.
  • Be a team player who prioritizes customer focus and satisfaction.
  • Assign job duties to the crew and ensure each employee is properly trained.
  • Serve as a safety role model for the team.
  • Enforce OPD and client-specific safety policies and procedures.
  • Anticipate and report potential safety and environmental concerns to the OPD superintendent.
  • Provide inventory reports to the OPD Site Manager.

Physical Demands
  • Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations; capable of lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods up to 11 hours per day.
  • Perform frequent movements of the entire body; use arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending regularly.
  • Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.
Basic Qualifications
  • Two or more years of experience working with insulation in a gas plant construction environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment with critical deadlines.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and self‑motivation.
  • Willingly meet all physical demands of the job.
  • Available to attend mandatory safety meetings.
  • Committed to working in a team environment with a customer focus.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Three or more years of experience as an insulation coordinator.
  • Past experience as a materials helper.
  • Previous experience in supply chain and inventory management.
