We are working with a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) that is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse client environments, providing technical leadership and hands-on support to ensure systems operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systems Management: Oversee and maintain client IT systems, including workstations, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Act as a senior escalation point for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Client Collaboration: Partner with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Ensure system stability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations and issue resolutions to support long-term efficiency.

Key Skills:

Required:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Expertise in Windows Server, Office 365, and Exchange environments.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with backup solutions and IT service management platforms.
• Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki and firewall management.
