Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

* Perform tests and procedures in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory.

* Are accountable for accurate results, the proper use of quality control materials and evaluation of those results.

* Must be able to recognize the interdependency of tests and conditions that affect test results.

* Participate in continuing education, competency and proficiency testing.

What qualifications you will need:

* High School Diploma or GED

* Technical School Diploma or Certificate in Medical Lab Technician

* Current Medical Laboratory Technician Certification through AMT or ASCP or AAB is required
