A hospital-based program in Vidalia, Georgia is seeking Hospitalists for an ASAP locum tenens assignment. This is a 3-month opportunity with both day and night shifts available, an open ICU, and strong specialty and telemedicine support.

• ICU:
  Open ICU model

• Average Daily Census: 18 patients per provider

• Daily Admissions:

  • Average of 4 per provider (including consults)

  • Team average:

    • Days: 12 admissions

    • Nights: 8 admissions

• Mixed acuity

• Inpatient rounding

• ICU rounding primarily as attending with critical care and consultant support

• Vent management required, especially for nocturnists

• Critical Care

• Cardiology

• Orthopedics

• Urology

• Nephrology (tele-)

• Tele-psychiatry

• Tele-neurology

• Completed residency - Required

• Internal Medicine preferred, but open to other backgrounds
