Position Description Ryder is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Reach Truck Operator in Victorville, California.

Warehouse positions pay weekly. Equipment: stand-up reach truck. Products being handled: household items.

Schedule:

4:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Sunday-Tuesday and Friday. Overtime pay applies. See additional details below.

• Perform warehouse functions which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; capable of working in a diverse environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with good attendance.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision and shows initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible availability across various shifts; health and safety aware.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
