We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and assisting with daily operations to meet sales targets.

What You'll Do

  • Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through product knowledge and excellent service.
  • Step in and support when needed, including covering the sales floor and assisting the management team.
  • Open and close the store as required, ensuring security protocols are followed.
  • Process sales transactions efficiently and promote additional sales through store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  • Understand sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT.
  • Assist with store layout and merchandising updates.
  • Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
  • Work with management to prevent theft and misuse of store assets.
  • Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.
  • Contribute to developing a passionate, collaborative team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

    • What You'll Need

  • At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
  • Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    • Pay range: $17 - $19.55 per hour. Final salary depends on education, experience, location, and other factors.
