• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Utilities Clerk will assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• Carry out groceries for customers upon request.
• Ensure the store is clean and safe at all times.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑back checks, assist with check‑stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
