The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets customers, treats fellow associates with respect, follows best practice standards, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation.

• Practice safe behaviors and prioritize safety.
• Maintain a sales floor awareness, create a safe environment, and report unsafe conditions.
• Treat customers and associates with respect; greet customers with eye contact, smile, and say “hello.”
• Assist customers in any way necessary: register-trained, assist merchandise, answer questions politely.
• Respond promptly to customer service calls.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenish restroom supplies, and disinfect high-touch areas.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the Company dress code.
• Expedite newly received merchandise and merchandize per monthly presentation guidelines.
• Understand Loss Prevention Awareness program, merchandise protection standards.
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions.

• Effectively communicate with customers, associates and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

• Use all store equipment including PDTs, registers and PC.
• Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking and moving around the store.
• Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach and stoop.
• Occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders and other assigned supplies.
• Associates who work stockroom shifts: regularly push, pull and lift more than 20 pounds.
