Responsibilities
The Radiology Receptionist / File Clerk performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients, and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Other duties include filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Radiology Receptionist / File Clerk should demonstrate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology. This person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
They navigate the reception area and outside storage areas, and provide clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System), and by running errands throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in receptionist work.
- Knowledge of terminology of Radiology tests preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $21.00.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
