Overview
National Institute of Clinical Research, a research organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is seeking a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience to support our research coordinators in clinical trials.
Responsibilities- Assist the Research Study Coordinator in recruiting subjects for assigned clinical trials and coordinating research activities and visits for enrolled subjects.
- Schedule research visits for subjects in clinical trials; perform EKG, routine phlebotomy, and other lab assessments such as vital signs; obtain necessary lab results.
- Assist in reviewing and requesting medical records.
- Utilize PC software applications including word processing; learn new software programs as required.
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist with at least 1–2 years of clinical experience (certification preferred) or a Laboratory Technician with at least 1–2 years of clinical experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
