Responsibilities

Join a hospital committed to delivering top-tier cardiovascular care to a growing and diverse community. Desert Valley Medical Center is a proud member of Prime Healthcare and serves as a trusted hub for quality care in the High Desert region.

Position Highlights

• 7 to 10 days per month, including 10 to 12 STEMI call days
• Inpatient consults, echocardiograms, and interventional procedures
• Work in a well-established, state-of-the-art cardiac program
• Support from experienced hospitalists and nursing staff
• Coverage needed for both weekday and weekend shifts (flexible scheduling)

Compensation

• Daily rate: $2,000 – $3,500, depending on scope and volume of services rendered

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain
• Proficiency in managing acute cardiac cases, including primary PCI
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desert Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $2,000-3,500.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
