Overview
The FAS Driver position is responsible for ensuring seamless field operations for the deployment, logistics management, and customer integration of FAS units. This position plays a critical role in executing FAS deployments, overseeing transportation logistics, and coordinating service work. When not in the field, the personnel support day-to-day yard operations and special projects at the Victoria, TX facility.
Responsibilities- Unit Transportation & Deployment
- Safely transport FAS units to and from customer deployment locations using company equipment.
- Oversee all aspects of equipment loading, unloading, setup, and teardown to ensure compliance with FAS standards and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and trip logs.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to meet deployment schedules and customer timelines.
- Equipment Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with external service providers to ensure FAS units are serviced by the proper vendors and arrive to service shops in a timely manner.
- Yard & Facility Support
- When not deployed in the field, assist with yard management at the Victoria, TX facility.
- Support preparation, inspection, and readiness of equipment and vehicles.
- Contribute to facility organization, maintenance, and miscellaneous operational projects.
- Experience:
Minimum 3 years in field operations, logistics, or equipment maintenance, preferably in the energy, transportation, or industrial sectors. - Licenses &
Certifications: - Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in the field.
- Travel:
Approximately 50%-75% travel to customer sites for equipment deployments. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in variable conditions, and perform hands-on field tasks safely.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
- Professional demeanor and strong customer-facing presence.
- Adaptable to changing work priorities and field conditions.
- Team player who takes ownership of assignments from start to finish.
