A Door-to-Door Salesperson is responsible for generating sales by directly engaging potential customers in residential or business areas. This role involves presenting products or services, explaining features and benefits, answering questions, and closing sales in person. The ideal candidate is confident, persuasive, self-motivated, and able to handle rejection while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills, resilience, and a results‑driven mindset are essential for success in this fast‑paced, target‑oriented role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify areas of density for door knocking opportunities throughout assigned VTX1’s footprint- we want you to own your territory.
  • Provide support in sustaining new connects in areas of new and upgraded towers.
  • Maintain continuous communication with Sales leadership in respective Designated Marketing Areas (DMAs).
  • Provide support in facilitating and attending local events where VTX1 will be represented.
  • Work with all VTX1 departments to cultivate a D2D Sales Channel that is uniform across the company by:
  • Working with Tech Support and Dispatch in facilitating sales orders
  • Mastering available tools to update, oversee and maintain reports pertaining to the respective D2D position.
  • Manner, and creating referral partners within your territory.
  • The D2D representative is responsible for achieving sales and connecting quotas within a designated footprint.
  • Daily travel within VTX1’s geographical footprint is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent job-related experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Highly motivated and driven to hit targets.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and strategies.
  • Basic computer skills for entering customers information and using sales software.
  • Ability to adapt to different neighborhoods and customer demographics.
  • Strong integrity and adherence to ethical sales practices.
  • Physical stamina to long walk for extended periods of time and navigate different neighborhoods.
  • Door 2 Door experience a plus.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and insurable record.
  • Must pass pre-employment screen, physical and background checks.
  • A reliable vehicle and a good driving record.
