Seeking: EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, LVN/LPN, or RN who are bilingual in English and Spanish and can work in one of our plasma donation centers.

• Perform physical examinations, establish medical history, and determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Ensure donor and staff confidentiality.
• Educate donors on potential hazards and provide counseling regarding test results.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
• Inspect history of illness or medication to maintain donor suitability.
• Assist in employee training and administer the Hepatitis vaccine program.

Bilingual in English and Spanish. Current certification/licensure in the state of employment for Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. HS diploma or GED. Current CPR certification required.

• Work performed standing and sitting for 2–4 hours per day.
• Bending and twisting of the neck up to 2 hours per day.
• Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger movements.
• May squat, crouch, or sit on heels rarely; occasional walking, bending, and twisting at waist.
• Light lifting of 15 lbs with a max lift of 50 lbs; may reach below shoulder height.
• Hearing acuity essential.
• Color perception/discrimination, near vision, and far vision acceptable to 20/30 in one eye and 20/100 in the other.
• Communicates information clearly and listens effectively.
• Works independently and follows oral or written instructions.
• Performs a wide range of tasks as needed under variable demands and conditions.
• Handles sensitive information for diverse groups.
