Job Description
As a Fitter/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating a wide range of miscellaneous metal projects. This includes cutting and welding metal pieces and products using flame‑cutting and hand‑welding equipment.
Minimum Starting Salary$22.00 - $30.00 per hour – depending on experience (Full‑time Alamo employees are eligible for shift differential pay).
Shifts Available- Day Shift
:
Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm - Night Shift
:
Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm to 2:30 am
- Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
- Maintain, organize, and keep work area and equipment in operating condition.
- Hand‑weld and/or flame‑cut equipment to join metal components.
- Cut and scarf using an oxy‑acetylene torch.
