• Build your own schedule using our WILYA app
• Work a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 30 hours per week in 2/4/6/8 hour increments of your choice
• Starting pay rate: $15.95/hour

• Work in various assembly functional areas to safely build excavators

• Perform routine production tasks in assembly, fabrication, paint, or other areas while upholding Caterpillar’s core values
• Follow documented procedures to safely and accurately assemble components using basic tools and equipment
• Operate machinery, blast and paint applications, and perform basic tack and straight‑line welds
• Support continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles and adhering to safety, quality, and standard work protocols

• Work or volunteer experience
• Complete the Caterpillar Online Assessment successfully
• Provide a complete application

• Basic computer skills
• Experience working in a team‑based environment
• Experience working in manufacturing or with basic hand tools

• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations
• Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.

FLEX hours will be in increments of 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours during the core hours of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. You will choose your hours with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30.

* The training week is NOT flexible. Must adhere to the following schedule for training:

• Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM (or later)
