Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Citizens Medical Center - 3rd Shift. - Provide quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
- Perform repairs to building and grounds.
- Conduct routine rounds of mechanical spaces and document equipment readings as required.
- Replace HVAC air filters per schedule.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created.
- Notify managers of major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Coordinate building and system repairs with other departments.
- Respond to emergency call-in situations.
- Report deficiencies on specific jobs or equipment.
- Assist other trades as required.
- Assist with facilities emergency events per policy.
- Support and review the work of outside vendors.
- Maintain mechanical spaces per Quality Assurance Program.
- Maintain necessary stock and tools to perform work.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Drive vehicles required to perform work.
- Document work per department procedures.
- Must complete safety and technical training as assigned by department director or designee.
- Must wear appropriate PPE and other protective gear and equipment as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- General knowledge of building maintenance and the use of tools and basic maintenance supplies
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year trade or vocational school
- Trade certificate preferred
- Valid unencumbered Driver’s license
- Five years’ general maintenance experience within commercial, industrial or healthcare setting
