Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Clinical Dietitian located in Victoria, TX. The Clinical Dietitian will develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments, provide counseling on dietary recommendations, and monitor patient progress to ensure compliance and effectiveness. The role also includes collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and their families about nutritional practices, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Additionally, the Clinical Dietitian will stay current on evidence-based practices and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Clinical Nutrition, Nutritional Assessment, and Dietary Counseling
  • Experience in Nutrition Education, Health Promotion, and guiding patients in maintaining optimal health through diet
  • Ability to collaborate with medical teams, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Strong skills in Monitoring Patient Progress and maintaining detailed, accurate documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential or state licensure as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Experience working with veterans or in healthcare settings is an advantage
