Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) PRN – South Texas (19966)

• Treat patients as directed by the occupational therapist
• Record treatments given in medical record
• Participate in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicate with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Participate in facility in‑service training programs
• Record daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state occupational therapy rules

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current license in practicing state
• Good communication skills; able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff
• Capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations
