The Social Sciences Department is recruiting for a full-time, nine-month, tenure track Government Instructor position available August 2026
. This position may teach dual credit Government on high school campuses as part of the teaching load. We are looking for an engaging team player comfortable with traditional, interactive television, and online/hybrid assignments. Class size is usually limited to 30-35 students. A successful candidate will compassionately commit to rigor and retention through campus partnerships at the departmental, divisional, and institutional levels.
Committee work and other duties will be assigned by the department chair or dean. Teaching assignment may include evening classes.
Starting earned monthly salary for the nine-month position is $5,453.00. The earned annual salary is paid out over 12 months.

- A Master's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Government.
