BC/BE in EM, IM, FPACLS & PALS; ATLS if not BC in EM-NRP Certification(PHY only)
ABMS or ABPS Board Residency Completion9 Hours Trauma CME Annually Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant:
ANCC/NCCPAState License and DEA;
Education; CMEs; COIs for the past 5 years; DL, Photo;
Board Certification;
Flu Shot, TB Test, NRP is Required
35K annual ED volume
338 hospital beds
25 ED beds
34-hour physician coverage
36-hour NP/PA coverage
Level III trauma center
Providers are expected to respond to codes, intubations, and death pronouncements
Specialty Backup: OB, Peds, Cardio, Ortho, Radiology, Pathology, Urology, Pulmonology & Hospitalists Staffing Model: 34 Hours Physician Coverage (6 am - 6 pm; 12 pm - 10 pm; 6 pm - 6 am)30 Hours Advanced Practitioner Coverage (7 am - 5 pm; 9 am - 7 pm; 5 pm - 3 am) Become an ICON:
