Deli Clerk – Part-Time

Country Grocer in Esquimalt is looking for a Deli Clerk
PART-TIME to join our family! The deli department is responsible for making mouth-watering meals, tasty fresh salads, top quality deli sandwiches, pizza, and platters. All done to the highest quality for our loyal customers.

• You’ll work behind our Deli service counter engaging with customers while wrapping and packaging fresh food goodness.
• When there’s a break in the customer rush, your responsibilities include re-stocking the showcase, preparing special orders, tidying up, and taking on those extra special tasks.

• Previous food service, prep, and cooking would be considered an asset
• No work experience? We’d be happy to train you!

• You’re friendly and loaded with personality.
• You have no problem rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.
• You thrive off of pressure and prioritize the small details.
• You like to work by yourself, but even better you like to work with a team.
• You take established department procedures and safe work practices seriously.
• You have open availability.
• You are able to safely bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs
• You are able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift

CA $17.85 – CA $21.50 per hour

• Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
