** We are hiring for a Area Team Lead
** Reporting to the E-commerce Senior Area Team Lead, the successful incumbent will provide leadership to a team of Personal Delivery Assistants in multiple stores within the given geographic area. The Area Team Lead will serve as a coach and mentor to our Personal Delivery Assistants; inspiring them to be ambassadors for Save-On-Foods while ensuring we deliver customers’ orders to their homes accurately and on time and with an Always Customer First attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*
* * Lead a team, acting as a trainer, coach, mentor, and resource to Personal Delivery Assistants; foster a positive team environment that acts as ambassadors to the Save-On-Food’s brand focused on
* Always Customer First
* service.
* Support the Ecommerce Senior Area Team Lead with team member relations (eg. recruitment, training, conflict resolution, performance management, rewards/recognition and the identification and development of future leaders).
* Hold the Team Leads and Personal Delivery Assistants accountable for operational standards (eg. customer service, on-time deliveries, van operations & procedures, cleanliness, food safety, health & safety).
* Use knowledge of the communities, competitive environment, and industry to develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.
* Support the Ecommerce Senior Area Team Lead with the communication of key messages to the Team Leads and Personal Delivery Assistants to ensure alignment with key business objectives.
* Liaise with Store Teams including Store Managers, Personal Shoppers and Customer Service Centre to ensure a timely and positive delivery experience for customers.
* Work closely with the Ecommerce Support and Routing teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
* Maintain the delivery vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
** Requirements:
*** Willing to travel as required to meet the needs of the business.
* Successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.
* Driving shifts would be required.
* The ability to lift to 40 pounds.
* Flexibility regarding scheduling, including weekends and evenings.
* Must maintain a valid class 5 BC driver’s license.
* Must maintain a current Serving It Right.
* Experience with technology, including GPS tools, smartphones, emails, text, Onfleet, Geotab, and Microsoft Teams, is required.
