Overview
This is a Mechanic Position for contract and common carrier with a logistics / trucking company location in Vicksburg, MS. Reports to Shop Foreman.
Responsibilities- Maintaining tractors and trailers
- Performing inspections on equipment
- Keeping shop areas safe and clean
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED
- Good communication skills
- Preference of 1 year of experience in maintenance and repair
- Air brake certified
- Must have own tools
- Tank experience
- CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements
- Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
