The Hospice Branch Director is a Registered Nurse who manages all aspects of terminal care with expertise in pain and symptom management and has experience in hospice nursing. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing documentation, overseeing service coordination and case management, and ensuring effective, supportive communication with employees, patients, and families. The Hospice Branch Director also supervises day-to-day office and clinical operations, plans, coordinates, and delivers interdisciplinary team interventions, assigns staff to patients/families, may act as a staff nurse when needed, and participates in community awareness and education programs.

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience within the past 36 months and at least one year in a hospice setting
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing hospice operations
• Competent with computers
