** Job Description Summary
** The Maintenance Generalist is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This position supports production in a fresh food manufacturing environment while maintaining compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

** Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders Basic computer skills and ability to use CMMS systems Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team
** Physical Demands and Work Requirements
** Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance

Ability to work around moving machinery, elevated platforms, and energized equipment Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed # Requirements:# Must have a minimum of 1 year of mechanic work experience or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training position.
