** Responsibilities
* ** Develop, implement and manage hedge programs in the region;
* Primary interface with internal and external parties for all commodities trades on Seed Operations;
* Understand market direction and commodity prices in order to performance risk analysis and answer questions;
* Execute commodities derivatives set-up and trade controls according to Commodity Policy and the defined process design attending internal controls and legal specifications;
* Develop and manage process and systems to reliably communicate hedge activities and related information to allow proper execution and risk management;
* Manage daily settlement, margins calls, fees/brokerage payments;
* Communicate ideas, recommendations, and data- based decisions clearly;
* Reporting:
Accountable for the measurement and communication of all related risk management KPIs to the appropriate hedge's stakeholders, observing sensitive information disclosure guidelines;
* Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve conflicts as they arise and attain goals.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior internal and external management.
* Champion commodities and Seeds business expertise to enhance overall organizational knowledge among stakeholders.

Skills And Abilities

*** Very good understanding of Seeds business, agricultural commodities and derivatives hedging. Hedge accounting knowledge with a front office perspective would be considered differential.
* Strong leadership skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in highly complex situation.
* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, initiative, great attention to details and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people at different levels leading to understanding, agreement, and acceptance. Strong ability to manage interactions and influence without authority.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to cultivate trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders;
* Proven skills in communicating both upward and downward in the organization.
** Experience
* ** Previous experience on leading complex, cross-functional projects & deadlines. (minimum of 5-7 years).
* Proven experience with commodity risk management and agricultural commodities derivatives hedging (minimum of 7 years).
* Previous experience in derivatives process improvement efforts/ hedge program development; (7 years).
* Degree in Business Administration;

Finance.
