HVAC Technician

The Verona Area School District is seeking applicants for the HVAC Technician position, to start as soon as possible. This position is responsible for maintaining all building equipment and installing new equipment as needed to ensure facilities are functioning, safe, and comfortable. This position differs from the Maintenance Technician position in that it involves performing advanced installations, monitoring, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC and building systems.

This position requires technical oversight of HVAC and building automation systems and will serve as a technical resource for complex building systems. Position may also perform a significant amount of pool maintenance, equipment, and other trades-related duties (Electrical, routing wire, physical installation of cameras, access points, etc.) by exercising independent technical judgement and will work alongside engineers, vendors, and contractors at a technical level.

This position requires advanced technical expertise, independent judgment, and access to confidential systems and operational data.

Bilingual (Spanish) skills are prioritized.
