Job Description

As a QA Process Quality Inspector, you will spend the majority of your time on the production floor, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. You will work closely with production operators, supervisors, and leads to maintain quality assurance. Your role will involve handling investigations and corrective actions, as well as conducting routine inspections and paperwork reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct shift transfers with the first shift PQI and communicate any incidents from the prior shift.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to address any necessary corrections or paperwork before shifts start.
  • Perform routine inspections and compliance checks across production units and suites.
  • Assist production operators when needed and ensure the cleanliness and compliance of production areas.
  • Review and correct documentation in real-time, ensuring no blanks or errors.
  • Conduct investigations and implement corrective actions for any deviations.
  • Provide training related to incidents and deviations, in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Serve as a backup for sampling and labeling tasks related to QA responsibilities.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in GMP and cGMP standards.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or dietary supplement environments.
  • Experience in quality assurance and auditing.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with various departments.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle quality issues effectively.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • High School diploma required; a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences is preferred with relevant experience.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Experience with batch records and clean room environments is advantageous.
  • Experience in inspections and audits is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with scales and QA checks prior to release is a plus.
Work Environment

You will be part of a small QA team with fewer than 10 members. The role involves working closely with production staff across various shifts, allowing for overlap and collaboration. PTO is generous, with up to 22 days available after the first year. The company offers excellent benefits with significant savings potential. While some overtime may be required, the workload is generally manageable, with a focus on maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
