Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 hour shifts

• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required, 2 years preferred

• 2-3 years orthopedics experience required

• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)

• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

• White scrubs required

• EPIC charting system experience required

• Skills include Med/Surg, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE

• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each

• Time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours must be completed pre-start and annually

• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application

• Block scheduling can be discussed but cannot be guaranteed
