Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours or 8/10 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours

• Minimum 2 years PCU experience required, ICU experience also needed

• Float to all 3 hospitals within the system (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)

• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)

• Epic experience required - must be level 3 or 4 proficiency

• Familiarity with cardiac drips required

• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

• White scrubs required

• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drips management, telemetry, and PCU/stepdown care

• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each

• Time-sensitive modules must be completed pre-start (average 6-15 hours, non-billable)

• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application - no additions accepted later

• First-time travelers accepted

• Locals accepted at same rate

• Facility has strict DO NOT call policy

The facility utilizes Epic charting systems and maintains Magnet designation standards. The organization operates multiple locations within a 20-mile radius and emphasizes interdisciplinary care with rapid response teams available.
