Salary: $41.00-$45.00 per hour

Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for our Pediatric Department. The successful candidate will be licensed in Florida with at least one year of experience with pediatric patients. Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic is the only non-profit therapy clinic in Indian River County, FL. We offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies for both adults and children in an interdisciplinary setting prioritizing the needs of the individual over the bottom line.

Established in 1953, Sunshine Physical Therapy Clinic has maintained a reputation of excellence for over 70 years, meeting the needs of individuals seeking therapy services regardless of their ability to pay. We accept most major medical insurances, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Job Responsibilities:

· Direct patient care for patients from infancy to late teens, working with a variety of diagnoses and disorders; may include:
Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome, Torticollis, Spina Bifida, and developmental delays;

· Direct supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants;

· Participation in off-site therapy program as requested.

Requirements:

· Licensed in the State of Florida;

· Medicaid certification;

· Master’s degree required;
Doctorate a plus;

· 1 year minimum experience with the pediatric population;

· Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting with Occupational and Speech Therapies;

· Experience working with children with special needs a plus.
