Staff Accountant

Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an Staff Accountant/Auditor to join their team in Vero Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the audit processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Oversee credit card transaction processes.
• Help prepare monthly and quarterly audit preparations.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Assist with year-end preparations.
• Manage special projects as assigned.
• Implement policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
• Handle month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Oversee the general ledger (GL) activities.
• Conduct balance sheet accounting and reconciliations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

This position requires availability from Monday through Friday.
