Vernon Independent School District is seeking a qualified and motivated Middle School Math Teacher for Vernon Middle School. The ideal candidate will deliver effective, engaging instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), support student academic growth, and foster a positive learning environment.

• Plan and deliver high-quality math instruction for middle school students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with TEKS
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
• Establish and maintain effective classroom management
• Collaborate with campus staff, administrators, and parents
• Participate in professional development and campus activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by campus administration

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate Math certification for middle school
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families
