Purpose:

The key role of a Clerk is to serve and delight customers with fresh baked goods, handmade pastries, and complementary products. They help customers with inquiries, guide them to appropriate items, and maintain a clean and inviting kitchen and front area. Depending on store needs, clerks may perform additional duties.

Responsibilitiesbalance include:

• Serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner praticebookk.
• Preparing and decorating baked goods and other treats.
• Answering customer questions and locating requested items.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety precautions in the kitchen and storefront.
• Assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.

Qualifications and attributes:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional baking training preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle physical tasks such as lifting ingredients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
